24 year old man murdered at Hamra checkpoint
Occupation forces shot and killed a young man at Hamra checkpoint today, 26th June 2015. Hamada Romanin, aged 24 years, is the 6th Palestinian to be killed at Hamra checkpoint – one of many checkpoints that segregate the Jordan Valley from the rest of the West Bank, and which thousands of Palestinians have to pass through each day to go to work or school, or to sell their produce or market, or access thier land, to get to the health centre or hospital, or to see family or friends.
When an emergency ambulance arrived on the scene it was stopped by Israeli soldiers and prevented from passing through the checkpoint to treat Hamada.
