10 families in the village of Bardala have been issued with demolition notices to prevent them from growing their crops. These demolition orders come at a key time in the season, when many of the crops are due to be harvested and young plants are just growing. The demolition orders are for poly tunnels and cloches that are used to protect the crops so the farmers can maximise their yields. The demolition orders cover an area of 36 dunums, which support 10 families which collectively have over 100 people in them. This is their only means of earning a living independently and being able to sustain themselves.
