IOF invades Tubas and Tammun
25th March 2026 – The Israeli military carried out a brutal invasion of Tubas and Tammun towns at 4.37am in the morning of 25th March.
They threw leaflets into the street, threatening the local population with the following statement:
“Israeli security forces are in a state of full readiness to act at any moment against terrorism and the Iranian enemy and its agents in Judea and Samaria. Do not expose yourselves. Stay away from any form of communication or cooperation with terrorism.
Anyone who attempts to harm Israeli citizens or Israeli security forces will expose themselves to live fire and arrest.”

In Tammun they appropriated a house and turned it into a military barracks.
Two men from Tubas and one man from Tammun were assaulted and required treatment at the Turkish Hospital: Nidal Mustafa Abdul Sawafteh, 53 years old, from Tubas; Ahmad Nidal Mustafa Sawafteh, 22 years old, from Tubas; Rabhiya Khader Shahada Bani Odeh, 63 years old, from Tammun.
10 people were arrested in total from both towns.

The occupation forces eventually left Tubas at 10.30am, but the occupation of Tammun continued until mid day.
This attack has taken place just 10 days after a family was slaughtered in their car in Tammun on 15th March, when the IOF fired more than 71 bullets into a family car killing the mother, father and two children aged 5 and 7 years old. The other two children, aged 8 and 11 years old survived the attack and have been left orphaned.
