Settlers have brutally attacked two sheep herders in Khirbet Hammamat al-Maleh al-Meetah, the northern Jordan Valley.

The brothers, Ghanem Eid Zawahra and Muhammad Eid Zawahra, from the Al-Meita area in the Jordan Valley, were brutally assaulted by settlers while they were herding sheep. More than six armed settlers severely beat them on the head, resulting in serious injuries.

They sustained serious wounds and bruises all over their bodies, especially in the head area.

This crime comes in the context of the escalation of ongoing attacks by settlers, who seek to terrorise Palestinian herders and farmers with the aim of displacing them and seizing their lands.

It is noteworthy that the settlers continue their attacks with the protection of the occupation forces, amid the escalation of violations against the Palestinians in the Jordan Valley, including stealing livestock, preventing grazing, confiscating lands, and repeated physical attacks.
