On 25th May 2026 the occupation stole 36 vehicles from Palestinian residents in the northern Jordan Valley, including tractors, cars and water tanks.

They were all taken from small farming communities and villages, which have no access to public transport, so cars and tractors are essential for basic survival. Most of these communities are also prohibited from having access to running water by the apartheid occupation laws. The yellow portable water tanks, pulled by tractors, are the only way that families can access water for drinking, cooking, washing, watering crops and caring for their animals. The occupation, with all its institutions, seized water tanks, cars and tractors, to put pressure on families, displace them, and convert their places of residence to military training areas and settlement outposts.

This operation was conducted by the occupation police, the settlement council, and the army, covering the areas of Al-Jiftlik, Farush Beit Dajan, Khirbet Al-Farisiya, Atuf, and Khirbet Al-Ras Al-Ahmar. In one village, a tractor, trailer, water tank and car were taken from just one family, rendering their life impossible.
