Quartet Envoy visits Al Farisiya
After a night in Al Farsiya helping the farmers to rebuild their houses, about 30 Palestinian and international volunteers welcomed the representative of the Quartet office in Jerusalem.
A big team of volunteers coming from all the world came on Tuesday to help Palestinian farmers whose houses were destroyed a few days ago by the Israeli occupational authorities.
All of them showed their support for the Palestinian communities of the Jordan Valley facing the Israeli occupation.
They spent the night in the Valley and welcomed in the morning the representatives of the the Quartet Envoy (Mr. Tony Blair), Awad Duaibes, Dr. Firs Raad as well as the Governor of Tubas.
They came to see the house demolition in Al Farisiya.
Fathi Khdeirat, the coordinator of Jordan Valley Solidarity, explained the miserable situation of the Palestinians in the Valley due to the Israeli occupation. He also urged them to take action to stop the Israeli occupation and particularly home demolitions.
Palestinians and internationals gave a letter to Mr. Tony Blair’s representatives, saying that no peace is possible with house demolitions and any kind of harrasment of the Palestinians
