The occupation forces stormed Khirbet al-Farisiya in the north of the Jordan Valley with military vehicles today, saying they wanted to use the land for military exercises. Seven families, from Khirbet Umm-Al Jamal and El-Burj, were forced to leave their homes for the duration of the exercise.

One elderly man, called Fathi Elayan, was injured and two cows were killed in the village of Ein Al Hilweh.

Since 1967, over 1200 people have been killed and hundreds wounded by unexploded munitions left by the Israeli military in the Jordan Valley.
