On Monday 2nd February 2026, in the evening, a number of Palestinian families were forced to leave their homes in the Tal Samadi area of Al-Jiftlik in the Jordan Valley, as a result of ongoing pressure and violations, leading to their forced displacement from the area.

Jordan Valley Solidarity stated that this step comes as part of a systematic policy aimed at emptying the area of its original residents and tightening restrictions on Palestinian communities, warning of serious humanitarian consequences for the displaced families, especially children and women, amid the absence of any protection.
