On Tuesday 7th August the Military Administration confiscated 150 cattle from farmers in the Al Maleh area, and arrested two Bedouin farmers.

This is part of an ongoing campaign against the Palestinian bedouin communities in Al Maleh, which has included confiscation of their water tanks and destruction of their homes.

We are concerned that this is a return tot he policies fo the 1970’s when the occupation forces systematically took animals belonging to Palestinian farmers, then charged the farmers for their transportation, upkeep and release.
