Settlers and Israeli military collaborate to prevent Palestinians from accessing their land.
New restrictions of movement for Palestinians in the Jordan Valley are making it virtually impossible for farmers to work their land.
On 8th December Palestinian Authority coordinated with the Israeli DCO to allow the farmers to access their land in Khirbet Ibziq. Within 20 minutes settlers arrived, claimed to have an operation in the area, and all the Palestinians were forced to leave their land. They have not been allowed back since.

This was not an isolated incident, but is part of a pattern of erasure, that is pressuring Palestinians to leave the area through the theft of their land, and attacks on them when they attempt to work the little land they have left.
Citizen Mansour Muhammad Abu Amer had previously plowed his land, sowing wheat and peas, but he is unable to continue his work due to settlers violence that has forced him off his land. In Khirbet al-Deir, settlers cut water pipes to a spring belonging to farmer Ammar Jihad Daraghmeh.
In the Al-Farisiya Ahmar area, a number of farmers working on their land were attacked by a group of settlers . The attack included chasing and threatening the farmers, as well as vandalizing one of their vehicles and causing material damage.
