Jordan Valley Solidarity has rehabilitated a water spring in Al Farisiya, in the northern Jordan Valley.

Palestinian and international volunteers of Jordan Valley Solidarity worked together to rehabilitate Ein Al Shak spring, in Al Farisiya.

This spring was not used by Palestinian communities have been prevented from using the spring, an essential source of water, since the area was made  ‘closed military area’ by the Occupation.

Four Israeli colonies are located around Al Farisiya village that was destroyed twice last July by Israeli bulldozers.

Palestinian communities living in this area have no direct access to water because of the Israeli restrictions. Rehabilitating this water spring will unable them to have free water as they use to have before Israeli land and water grab and thus will unable them to stay on their land.
