Army training planned in the Jordan Valley: Call for international support
Khirbet Yarza in the north of the Jordan Valley were issued with notices on 3rd of April that military training will be taking place in their village.
They have been told that the village will be under curfew and the military training will take place between the houses. If anyone is in the village, but not inside their home, they could be shot.
Jordan Valley Solidarity is calling on internationals to come to the area to be eye witnesses and to show solidarity with the village.
This is not the first time that Khirbet Yarza has been targeted. In the last year they have had homes in the village demolished on 14th and 27th January 2016 and military exercises have been conducted in the village in June 2015 and February 2016.
