At 7am, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) demolished 2 Rashaydeh family homes and their animal barracks in Fasayil al-Wusta. 3 Israeli military jeeps, 2 military police jeeps, 1 civil administration vehicle and 1 bulldozer arrived at 7am and proceeded to destroy 6 structures in the community.
The homes belonged to Abed Yasim Rashaydeh Abu Nahar and his brother Hassan Yasim Rashaydeh. In total 20 members of their family were made homeless. IOF also issued demolition orders for 2 new animal barracks built recently.
Israel has ordered the whole community to leave the land but is targeting the Rashaydeh family who have had their homes demolished four times since June 2011.
Fasayil al-Wusta is prohibited from having running water or electricity despite both utilities passing through the community. For background information about the community see our report from the last demolition in March here.
