We address this message to the international community, human rights organizations, and official government bodies to inform of the harsh reality we face daily in our home, Khirbet Samra. We are subjected to a systematic campaign of intimidation and attacks led by illegal Israeli settlers, aiming to tighten the noose around us and forcibly displace us from our land and our ancestors’ heritage.

Here we give light to the reality of daily illegal Israeli settler attacks in Khirbet Samra:

Shepherds are chased and their flocks of sheep are scattered. The settlers prevent them from reaching pastures to graze, threatening the collapse of our only source of income and livelihood. They provocatively raid our homes, spreading fear among children and women. They use loud speakers, blaring music, and whistling day and night to destabilize us psychologically.

Regarding direct threats from illegal Israeli settlers:

We confirm that the man responsible for these illegal settler groups, Uri Cohen, has repeatedly issued open and brazen threats against us. He demands that we sell or abandon our sheep, threatening that we will face the same fate as the residents of Khirbet Humsa, a neighbouring community whose livestock were stolen on 13/3/2026 in a violent attack by 30 armed settlers.

We, the residents of Khirbet Samra, have demonstrated resilience with our bodies and livelihoods as we remain on our land despite constant systemic harassment. Ending the harassment we endure requires serious action, not mere condemnation. We call on international and local institutions and authorities to provide legal and practical protection for all residents and shepherds of Khirbet Samra to counter the arrogance of illegal Israeli settlers.
