Settlers with baseball bats attack Arab al Ka’abneh school
On Sunday 15th September 2024 at 09:47am, a group of settlers stormed the Arab al-Ka’abneh elementary school in al-Ma’rajat, northwest of Jericho. They physically assaulted students and teachers, tied up the principal of the Arab al-Ka’abneh School, and injured three teachers, who were all left with severe bruising: Manal Saradih, aged 40; Arwa Amer, aged 36; and Nancy Abu Bas, aged 37.
An British solidarity activist, Adalah Hani Khalil, aged 20, had his hand broken when the settlers attacked him. He was transferred by Red Crescent crews to the Jericho Governmental Hospital.
Rami Al-Damanhouri, the school principal, and another resident of the area were arrested. The occupation police force also confiscated the school’s digital video recorder, claiming this was in order to review the incident from the beginning.
Extensive video coverage taken during the attack, shows the settlers beating people with baseball bats. They can be clearly identified from the footage on our Facebook.
