Abdul Hadi, a resident of the village of Fasayil al-Wusta, is the father of seven children.

After the construction of the new settlement outposts south of the village, the settlers began building a fence around the village, preventing Palestinian residents from moving around. The settlers began attacking the villagers on a daily basis, intimidating them by entering their homes and photographing them. They did not respect the privacy of women and children in their homes, creating a climate of fear.

After threats to confiscate their sheep, four families left the village of Fasayil al-Wusta for the village of Nu’ayma, leaving only the Abd family behind, which led to an increase in violations against them.

Until two weeks ago Abdul Hadi worked in the Rotem settlement, which is one kilometre away from the Palestinian village. A guard from the Rotem settlement fired Abdul from his job two weeks ago, leaving the Abdul family without any income. Abdul owns seven sheep, which is all he has left.

On 15th December 2025, the settlers entered Abdul’s house and brought their sheep with them. The settlers’ sheep ate the seeds that Abdul had planted for his own sheep.

The settlers’ policy is to confiscate all the land in the village of Fasayil in order to separate the village and annex the Rotem settlement to the Netsa’el settlement.
